FF TOP THAT CHALLENGE

Here at Fast Fired, we specialize in “Your pizza, your way” with over one million topping combinations. We pride ourselves in offering an assortment of flavours and now we want to hear from you!

This month we are asking you to put those unlimited combos to the test with our Top That Challenge! Put on your creative culinary hats and top your pizza with your favourite flavourful combination.

To enter into the competition post a picture on social media (Facebook, Instagram and/or TikTok) with the hashtag #FFTopThatChallenge, tagging @FastFired and a descriptive name for your creation.

Voting will be open to the public shared through stories, social media, email, and more for two weeks after submissions are finalized.

If your #FFTopThatChallenge pizza is voted the winner, your creation will be featured at every Fast Fired location for a whole month, a $25 gift certificate.

If you think you can make a pizza that will top the menu, then accept the challenge and submit your creation today! (HINT: our pizza pros suggest 4-6 toppings).

But that’s not all…

Not only is this your claim to pizza fame, but this is also your chance to give back! $1 of every Top That Challenge winning pizza ordered will go directly to a charity of your choice. That’s right, your favourite charity will benefit every time someone orders your amazingly-topped pizza from one of our Fast Fired locations. We are excited to promote this fun and creative way to share a “pizza your heart” while giving back to the community. Now that’s a tremendous way to come out on top.

Compete with your friends and family in the Top That Challenge to see who comes up with the best and most creative flavour combinations. Pizza night just got a little bit more fun! Take turns sampling each other’s creations and don’t forget to enter the competition by using the #FFTopThatChallenge hashtag for your chance to win. It’s hard not to want to try them all, but only one will top the charts.

Order your creation or pull some inspiration from our chefs:

The Mean Green: Spinach pesto, vegan mozzarella, sundried tomato, arugula, and garlic oil.

Let’s Taco Bout It: Spicy sauce, mozzarella, cheddar, seasoned beef, taco seasoning, and jalapeño.

Posh Spice: Garlic sauce, goat cheese, arugula, modern meat, fresh tomato, and chili flakes.

BBQ-T: BBQ sauce, mozzarella cheese, cheddar, roasted chicken, and red onion.

Sriracha What You Want: Garlic sauce, mozzarella, sausage, tomato, mushroom, and sriracha.

Chicken Cordon My French: White sauce, mozzarella, roasted chicken, and bacon.

Whether your creative combo is something like “Spicy Vegan Surprise” or “Pickled Meat Lovers” the possibilities are endless. We have a wide variety of sauces, cheeses, meats, and veggies to choose from. You can stick to the classics, mix and match, or try something crazy (so crazy it just might work.)

There is no wrong way to “pizza”. Each topping has the potential to be united and bring pizza victory to you and your favourite charity. Don’t be afraid to be creative! We want to see how your pizza will TOP the competition.

February 9th is National Pizza Day! First celebrated in the year 2000, the 21st year of National Pizza Day is right around the corner! People everywhere now have a bonus reason to consume cheesy, delicious goodness. Join in on the celebration by chowing down on these fun pizza day facts.

WHAT IS NATIONAL PIZZA DAY?

National Pizza Day began in order to recognize a dish created in Naples, Italy in the 10th century. The brilliant concoction of flatbread, sauce, and cheese lived on in infamy, spreading far and wide for centuries. Today, pizza can be found on nearly every street corner with a variety of toppings and styles. In fact, 75% of Canadians report consuming the cheesy savory food favorite at least once a month or more. Those are our kind of people!

HOW DO YOU CELEBRATE NATIONAL PIZZA DAY?

Celebrations include eating at least 2 slices of pizza, sharing with friends and family, and trying new innovative toppings. You can help support your local restaurant community by donating to RESF. During the month of December, 50% of your donation will go towards a gift card purchase from a local restaurant, while 50% goes to support local food banks in Winnipeg!
